Must-Have Accessories for Drones
Aerial photography has enormously increased in the last three years. If you have followed this trend and purchased a camera, you will have a lot of fun with it. But after spending some time with the drone, it may not look like the fantastic photos you have seen on Instagram. Don’t be surprised, because many of these photos were probably taken with additional accessories or source. All photographers depend on additional accessories to make their careers more comfortable and take their photos and movies one step further. Below are some of the handy drone accessories that I was allowed to use and analyze. These accessories can help you improve your overall drone experience, video quality, flight awareness, and safety.
Extra Propeller
It would be best if you always had extra propellers with you when you want to fly your drone. In case of a total loss, the drone propellers are the first parts to break. I have enough experience with drones and have had more than 20 exceptional drones. They are not mandatory, but they are handy when flying in tight spaces or floating in a limited space. In the last six months, I have used propeller guards only once or twice, but most people use them every day.
Additional Battery
Drone technology has come a long way in recent decades. The latest DJI Phantom 4 Guru offers a flight time of 30 minutes, according to their website. So, make sure you buy another battery pack or more always to have a reliable backup. If you own the Phantom 4 Pro, you can choose to upgrade the quick charger instead of the included battery pack. The P4 will most likely be recharged in 40 minutes, compared to 65 minutes with the standard charger.
Additional Charger
An extra battery creates an excellent business for as long as possible, but it also needs to be recharged. If you have two or more batteries and each takes half an hour to recharge, the standby time can quickly increase to hours if you use additional batteries when they are idle. So it is better to buy an extra charger, or better still, you can opt for the multiple chargers, which allows you to monitor the batteries simultaneously.
Vehicle Battery Charger
In case you are traveling, and the only source of electricity you have is your car battery, it is essential to get a car charger for your drone. So if you have 1, 2, or 3 electric showers when you are on the road, you will probably eat up all the energy sooner or later. So what you need is the ability to control your batteries when you are somewhere near your AC power level. The screen is too small to take another look at what is happening around you. So you buy a reliable tablet PC with a screen big enough for reliable image power.

Phantom series drones look more cinematic and are great because they don’t put a significant burden on any stepped drones. A GPS drone tracker grounded to your drone can be useful once you decide to go on a mission to protect your drone. Consider purchasing a 64 GB micro SD card if you do not need to transfer the footage to your PC after every two flights. For a safer and more comfortable choice, get a custom drone backpack or travel bag; you will see many options available. In my opinion, hard shell backpacks are the most functional and safe backpacks worth having.
